I absolutely love this story for so many reasons, but the best one is that both of you have such a great passion about doing these jobs. You seem to enjoy giving your information to others because you believe in it, and the increase in class attendance is proof that you've got some great teaching ability; a rare gift. Your friend's joy at being given a chance to share her knowledge is so beautiful. Maybe you both ought to think about career changes. If you do what you really love, it won't be a job and you will reap benefits you never thought possible. Much love to you both!
I have been very fortunate in this life to have jobs I really love. And that the current one gives me the chance to teach things I love, that is just a bonus!
I wanted to be a librarian as a kid. Then a teacher. I found that I really didn't want to be involved in the public school system, and ended up in retail, and it hasn't been bad. I think I am happier than I have ever been, though let's not say that too loud, don't wanna jinx it! ;)
