And this made me grin from ear to ear, another reason for me to watch... the first being the WBC doesn't want it to happen. I wasn't going to watch until I found that out!

You be right on who it is! And yeah they are IDIOTS. I tweeted a link to their crackpot flier for it earlier. Made me laugh rather than do anything else. You know they were banned from Tumblr, right?

Anywho I am off to the land of Nod, in hopes that Helen Magnus or Sam Carter join me.

aww this made me giggle in a big fluffy way. I loved that both Helen and Kate would want to watch it and of course Helen would have Royal connections ;-)

I've seen so many (okay, two) fandom-related Will and Kate jokes over the past few days, it's fantastic.

As someone who's absolutely getting up to watch this, I really appreciate this fic. I think it's fab. Especially that Kate prepped for it and that Helen's always armed even if you have no idea where the gun is.

I will! I'm actually visiting a friend at the time (who has two very small children) so it may be of the "Quietly boot up computer, load YouTube and headphones" variety, but I'm looking forward to some serious pomp and circumstance. And very nice hats.
