Scrap Project #3 Start to finish
On the Breeze scrap bag by Jamie Kalosstron. Minor changes, but mostly followed the pattern. Made this completely of scraps - only new purchase was that I didn't pack any batting (D'oh - have lots of that in usable scrap sizes too!). Unfortunately, the sewing machine seems to need some attention - so the applique is on hold and the amigurumi will get done first. Posting a couple of wip for now.

Microblog: Sewing again
This weekend was the Central Carolina Stash-Dash. Friday afternoon/evening I made a run through the western shops and Saturday morning through the eastern shops. While driving, came up with a couple of anime applique ideas. Sunday moring was then spent starting to assemble the blocks - 3 in all, should end up being a 15x36 wall hanging. Microblog: Inspired by Ponyo????
Actually I made these last weeked, before seeing Ponyo - but now I want to make some other critters too. The geologic referrences were great, and as opposed to Disney, Ghibi Studios seems to know Some science. Upto the point where they invoked LeMarck - "I think, therefore I evolve." Art was great, story pretty fluffy - B+.
