A good friend who reads this blog regularly and uses it to keep tabs on me wondered recently whether I’m all right, because I haven’t been posting.

OWW sounds like a good move, just so long as you don't abandon us here at LJ. Your posts are always so great. You can ruminate on what you learn!

I recently joined an online crit group that is all children's and YA writers, many of whom are published. It's great giving and receiving feedback from people who are on the same plane, so to speak.

The only thing I ever do at TF.N any more is take the odd peek to see if my one story is still in the top ten in the archives. (Ah, vanity, thy name is fanfic writer.) It's slinking downward, but slowly, oh so slowly.

I fogot to comment on #4. My hubby and I watch a lot of action movies together, too, but it isn't too hard to talk him into trying something else. He's liked some of my European movies, and he doesn't even mind the odd romance though we both tend toward drama. I think we might finally go see Slumdog Millionaire this weekend.

I enjoyed being able to talk about these kinds of movies with my boys. Still do sometimes, especially with the younger one. It's nice to connect.
