Am I the only person who thinks this election is a sham and the GOP is deliberately throwing it in Obama's favor?

That things are so hopelessly screwed up right now that a democratic rule can't help but put a sheen on the suck that has been the last few years.

I'm not sure I'm counting chickens, yet, to be honest. I mean, if you want to be a paranoid doom-sayer, just imagine what might happen if McCain were to win, due to the dem voters getting lazy here at the last minute ( ... )

Actually - let me put it this way. Blaming some grand scheme hatched in a dark smoke filled back room smacks of playing the victim. If you think the system is broken, lets do something other than spreading FUD about conspiracies to throw elections.

I am worried that the fallout from the last 8 years will poison the democratic rule, and that they'll be blamed for the idiocy that we have to suffer through to make up for it.

this is exactly why my husband thinks this the GOP doesn't care if they lose - and in fact, sort of want to.
