Whee! Because luckychan recommended it (and I couldn't wait for her scanlations *sheepish*), I went ahead and downloaded Ouran Koukou Host Club AKA Ouran High School Host Club from free_manga (I love this community ^-^). The result: BWAHAHAHA! :p Too bad I've only managed to download up to chapter 5 because MegaUpload and SaveFile hate me

But...but...Tamaki is really sweet, once you take away his narcicissm! T___T Kasi hanggang Chapter 5 pa lang nababasa mo. ^^; You see more depth in his character by Volume 3. He's nothing like Tsukasa...^^; He's sincere, you see, even when he's charming his 'clients'...he's actually kind of naive, and he always means well

But whee! Got to download chapters 6-9 na ^-^ Hanggang anung chapter na ba meron? Pero ang weird ha. Yung licensed English manga, nasa volume 6 na pero yung scanlations volume 4 pa lang.

One thing I don't get about the Host Club: why are all these guys playing geisha to their female classmates? That's essentially what they do, isn't it? They sit around with the girls and entertain them with their looks, charm, and stories. Why do they do it?

Kasi it's really, really good money. Japanese women have a HUGE disposable income, and one of the things they splurge on are trips to host clubs where they drink beer with young, attractive men who act sweet towards them and make them feel attractive.
