I came home this afternoon to a totally refurbished office!  A few of my friends got together over the weekend and, under Brody's direction, built me shelves, repainted, rearranged and bought new, wheelchair-friendly furniture, and simply did a fantastic and beautiful job envisioning a room I can actually feel comfortable and happy spending time in

I was catching up on my LJ reading. I'm sorry to hear that your health isn't so great but it sounds wonderful that you have such a loving and supportive group of people who truly care about you surrounding you! Thank you for sharing your story. I'm glad I logged on to read today as I was having what I considered to be a tough time but in reality I should stop being so selfish.

You seem to be such a strong person. I pray you get better.

I'm also sorry to read about the passing of your mom. I could find a link to comment directly on that post. My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
