It's hard to believe Zoe didn't fall for Wash's charms earlier- must have been that cheesy mustache.

I usually don't read Firefly fic, as I'm that oddity: a viewer who only saw the movie, not the series. (But I've seen it a bunch of times.) However, I was tempted and I clicked. Now I know that Zoe and Wash weren't a couple initially, and their union is in spite of initial reluctance on her part. From my limited knowledge, this is characterized well. Spare, but complete. I like fleshing out characters' backgrounds, either canon-wise or fanon-wise. I liked this a lot.

I did spot one tiny homophone error: clambering where perhaps you meant "clamoring"? Just sayin'... It's the inveterate beta in me!

I'm glad you decided to click onto my firefly fic. Wash and Zoe were a couple all the way through the series, we only got to see them once prior to their marriage, in a short flash back, and she took an initial dislike to him.

Thank you for pointing out the mistake, I always prefer to know when there’s something wrong, so then I can go fix it. :-)
