Interviews are the wooorst. And the next 5 years is a silly question, I think. But then again, interviews have never been my forte either, so....

I am that person who **loves** interviews and first dates.

I see them like a game of "Who are you?" and like how they are these totally normal things... that are actually so deeply socially contextual they are actually surreal. The social dance in them is *so weird* and everyone is so hyperaware that I get really into it for some reason.

I should have expected the 5-year question... and now that I've practiced my answer a few times I won't accidentally take it in my *normal* way which is a philosophical inquiry into the nature of forward-thinking... and instead tell them, "I want to be settled, working with your organization, growing in the position so I can do my favorite thing which is producing new opportunities for our communal futures!"

....or other such patter....
