Rambling about music ♪

Ever since I got in touch with the English-speaking world, I've wondered what "C major" and "B-flat" and stuff like that mean. I had a keyboard when I was a kid (and a flute that I never used), so I knew there was "do", "re", "mi", etc. That was it, though. Scores always looked like an unfathomable thing to me.

多分、西洋の音楽を取り入れた段階で、何語で呼ぶか統一しなかったのでしょう…。混乱しますね。日本人って、何でも混ぜるから…^^;

Hey, that's great! You should totally learn how to play again. I can't play anything, but I hear it's very relaxing and comfortable to just play something and forget about everything that's going on in your life.

I find it relaxing to just listen to someone play an instrument. Actually playing one always seemed very complicated to me, but at the same time it must be so much fun. X3

Wow, you have so many interests that it's just impressive. XD Did you really use to play the keyboard? Then I bet you'd have fun relearning to play it. :D The only thing I even played in my life was my flute and I haven't even tried in almost a decade, but the keyboard just sounds a lot cooler. XD

It was a small electronic keyboard for kids, but it had all the basic notes, so to speak, and I could play a few simple songs, like "Happy Birthday to You". XD It came with some scores for several songs in varying degrees of difficulty, but I found most of them too complicated. Of course, I've long forgotten to play even the simple ones. XD

When I was about seven, my school was going to have a music class and required me to buy a flute, but for some reason the music class was cancelled before it even began, so I never learnt how to play it. I tried to figure it out on my own, but I failed miserably. XD
