What A Dinner!
I had an incredible dinner Thursday night.
It wasn't the food. Though that was good too. A small italian place downtown. The kind of homey spot where everybody knows your name. Yes, the "Cheers" of Plattsburgh, NY. A city of 20-thousand that's 20 miles from Canada, and across Lake Champlain from Vermont.

Kindergarten has officially begun.
My twins met their teachers today.
A young woman starting her second year in the classroom.

Time Flies...
Tomorrow my twin daughters start kindergarten.
They're going into different classrooms for the first time. They were concerned when we first told them, but an hour later they were fine with it.
Kids really do bounce back quickly.
I think I'm more anxious than they are about day one.
They refused to get new clothes for the occasion.
Imagine that.

A New Week...
I know I probably shouldn't say this out loud, but I'm glad the Olympics are over. Don't get me wrong, they were great to watch with multiple exciting finishes (Think Phelps, Shawn Johnson, etc.) but they're also like having friends and family stay in your home. Olympic Glory
Even if you don't really pay attention to the olympics. Or don't really care. This year's has had some incredible moments.

Delays All Over
So I'm sitting here at an odd hour waiting to do my job. My job happens to depend on when the olympics end each night. Tonight, they're going long.
