I get so distracted by the wind farms when I drive home to Arkansas or when we go to Kansas. There are a ton of them in Iowa, too. I want to stop and take pictures next time I drive down in the spring or summer.

Oh it's totally distracting. At some point I realized I'd slowed down to about 50mph because I wasn't even paying attention. Thankfully everyone around me seemed to be in the same trance.

I know that wind farm! the turbines are RIGHT next to the high way. Seriously a few of them are RIGHT THERE! They are kind of distracting. I have to watch if my hubby is driving because we are both watching them if they are all moving. Then we found there is another one by the highway we live near in Illinois! I love those things.

When I go to London (from Paris) I always see lots of wind tubines in the fields near the train tracks.

Yeah they aren't super common here. Our country is idiotic and can't let go of it's obsession with fossil fuels and coal energy. I'd actually never seen a wind farm in real life. It was really awesome.
