Today didn't go the way I planned, but it went pretty well. We drove to ikea which didn't go well... we could not return the blanket and then brian and I bickered a bunch and just left. How pointless!!!! We drove 40 minutes to be in the store for 15 minutes. Ugh ( Read more... )

Hah yeah we've been going between "trying" and "not trying" for like years now. The "not trying" I guess is still in effort of trying because people always say "oh it always happens when you're not trying" lol.
Currently, we're back to trying.

agree with the making batter food than Olive Garden...as a general rule, I think anywhere that makes pasta type dishes you can make it just as good if not better at home...and for fractions of the cost.
It's been awhile since I've been across the bored (god damn passport law) but here a pasta meal at a roadhouse style restaurant runs around $12-$14 and it's like where do they get these prices from? a whole package of pasta costs what..a dollar? the sauce what another dollar? the meat at the MOST $3 but that's pushing it. I dunno. all in the name of convenience.
