This morning I went shopping. I spent all the money I made at the bar this weekend on groceries at Dorothy Lane Market and a couple other places. I bought fresh herbs, a fresh basil plant, some flowers, lemons, peaches, strawberries, french bread, olive oil, spices, tomatoes, some toys for the animals and some other stuff. What kind of nails do you use to hang things on your brick wall? I have a very old apartment w/ walls made apparently of diamond. I can't get anything to work and I really want to hang my pics. >;/

Uuugh. The walls are hardcore. We bought a masonary drill bit and these hardcore screws with like those plastic anchors. It takes like 20 damn minutes to make one hole and put the screw in lol.

Most of the stuff we've hung on screws that were already in the wall.

Also... sometimes if I can just get a hole drilled, I drill as far as I can and put a really long screw in, it's not really secure... but the tension of something hanging down on it holds it in place, if that makes sense.

Fantastic place!! The brick walls remind me of living in Baltimore although that loft would cost at least $2k here.

I love that damn well. It's original from when the place was a warehouse back in like 1813 or some craziness.

you've honestly got yerself SUCH a wicked place! Normally people with records on their wall get punched in the teeth my me (because I know deep down inside they suck and actually don't even know how to play vinyll, just tack it on their walls ;) ..) but YOU make it rule, which makes me love you more!@ CCOOOOL

hahahaha. I thought about making a whole curtain of them to divide part of the 2nd bedroom, inspired by the picture frame curtain/wall/room divider thing in high fidelity, but just putting up those took forever hahaha.
