Summer time in the City

This morning I went shopping. I spent all the money I made at the bar this weekend on groceries at Dorothy Lane Market and a couple other places. I bought fresh herbs, a fresh basil plant, some flowers, lemons, peaches, strawberries, french bread, olive oil, spices, tomatoes, some toys for the animals and some other stuff. Then I came home and cleaned the whole loft.
I had even bought a new shower curtain for the front bathroom because the cat shredded the old one... ugh. This one claimed to be "heavy duty." I guess we'll see. The cat sat IN the shower the entire time I was putting it up... like he was staring at it, looking for weaknesses.

I moved all the furniture in the living room and cleaned the entire floor. I vacuumed the rug until it actually looked white again lol. I planted the basil plant and sat it by the window. It smells nice and herbally... lol It's supposed to last several weeks... you're supposed to use it before it flowers though, because then it will get bitter.

The sun is pouring into the loft windows right now. I love it. I think I'll take Eddy for a walk soon.

Just because I was so happy with all the cleaning I did, here's some photos of my place. Some might be a bit redundant of stuff I
I've posted lately... ah well.

I don't even want to talk about the life and arts section thing... It took me an hour just to frame them and get them like this... turns out hanging things... not my forte. Jesus Christ. I was losing my mind. I'll fix it later...

Tonight Karen and Goldie Justin are coming over for dinner. (Do people still call him Goldie?? Or is it just me? haha.) We're going to make some pasta and stuff, it'll be fun.

Yeah, I think it's about time to take Edward out for a walk. He's pretty tired from chasing me around the house while I vacuumed all day haha, but he just loves getting outside when it's so nice out. Hopefully it isn't too hot for him.
