it's 1:30am, but it's whatever. I just had to make cake tonight. I'm to the point where it's something I want to do all the time. How else can I learn. I've looked into the Wilton classes and every fucking place around here has them on Mondays and Tuesdays which are literally the only two week nights I work. Whatever, I'll teach myself. I'll find ( Read more... )

piping, tiers, cake, photos, butter cream, 5th cake, chocolate

What kind of cake is beneath all that gorgeous, glorious swirled frosting? Inquiring minds (by which I mean "sugar fiends") want to know.

That cake rocks! I think it is your best one yet! I know plenty of people that would LOVE their wedding cake to look like that. I can tell that your piping has getten MUCH better.

I can see this being a good art for my husband, seeing as he is so detail oriented (obsessively). Although, I am the one that likes to bake.

My only question is... and I have been wondering (now that you have made quite a ginormous cake), what do you do with it? Who eats it?

Well, lets just say, its good (or maybe bad....) to be my husband hahaha. The boy does love cake...

I was already messaging people last night begging them to come eat cake with me tonight haha.

So far only one cake has gone to waste. My little wall e cake, I made and then promptly got really sick. My hubby ate two pieces and I was sick all week, barely eating anything. By the time the weekend came, it was melty and stale.

THIS cake, is mammoth. I swear to god, it weighs 5 lbs or more. Haha. Everyone is trying to give me this "im on a diet" crap, but if they don't come help me eat it, I'll razz them for not supporting me hahaha.

Im going to get so fat!
