Yesterday, I had my thesis defense. It went okay (grade was 1,7 which is still really good in relation) but I could have done better. I mean, I know I could have done better because I had the best ideas for two questions they asked after the defense was over *head desk

( Nyah. Nyaaaaaaaaaah. )

wonderful world of academia, crazy hazy hue, just thesis things, for science!

Congrats on the great thesis mark!

So is the last question serious? I can give you the few insights I tend to give kind-of-mine prospective PhD candidates - or friends considering a PhD in whichever field. But I am not quiet sure we know each other well enough for me to be sure that the advice is welcome :)

Yep, absolutely serious. Strictly rationally speaking, a PhD would be a bad idea but I can't shake the feeling of "Maybe you really should reconsider anyway?" :S So yes, every advice is appreciated, especially from people who already went through the entire process ;)
