Wonderful World of Academia: This and that and maybe some progress?

So, I still haven't written another word for my thesis but I did do an astonishing amount of reading, at least judging from all the colorful post-its and pagemarkers I stuck in the library books on my cupboard and thanks to the wonderful recommendations from immertreu (thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!) I did find some literature specializing on Stargate (

Not really (since I'm writing it under the label "military sociology", not literature theory which, let's all be honest, would be the more comfortable discipline to write it for. Unfortunately, the Master's is a social science program with a focus on security politics and the military ;)) but I still love it! "The bearded Spocks of their respective universes" is the best summary for the entire problem ♥
