Today, I received an e-mail telling me to pick up my student ID and TAN lists for the online enrollment system which means that I am finally properly enrolled in my Masters oh God! Now all I need to do is enroll in my classes and apply for state funding and everything will finally be right again (aside from the fact that I will be broke for two

nope. US history/government classes cover our system b/c it's federally mandated, you even have to take a test and pass it within a certain range, and they only cover the British system in passing/lumping it with other "systems" (which is BS). It's only if you decide to study political science do you get into other forms of government and that only after you pass the basic level classes (I'm assuming, I only took one PS class and that was for my degree).
I so, so, so have my fingers crossed that you'll finally get decent health care for everyone and so much more!
I can't agree more! it still boggles my mind that people still don't view health care as a right that should be available for everyone regardless of their income/job (I could rant about this more but I can't type very fast w/ one hand ;))
