And when you're done celebrating, please start thinking again.

So Osama's dead.

First thing I though was: "So... what?"

Second thing was: "Are they stupid? It's like a fucking hydra's head. Cut off one of them, you get three new ones."

Please tell me you didn't all lose your brains over the death of that old man. )

not a war, what i don't even, politics, parallel universe

I really don't think it would have made much of a difference if he lived or didn't, in military and political terms. That was just a little publicity stunt, to show the Falcons back home Obama's one of them. I'm not sure if it was a good idea to do that.

Isn't it weird that whenever he does something Europe approves of such as the health care reform, he's persona non grata in the US and whenever he does something the major part of the US seems to approve of, Europe seems to head desk?

Seriously...it has me appalled. It makes me want to say I am NOT an American. Because hello crazy countrypeoples. You are all cuckoopants. Seriously. Now shut up and put your heads down because it's about to get ugly.

I mean yes its nice to have the guy you guys blame for what happened gone but what was that the state department said today? Oh right "Be prepared for homegrown terrorists trying to avenge his death in spectacular fashion." so...yeah not what you were going for was it?

I for one didn't care if he was dead or alive (I mean really even if he was living in a 'palatial mansion' he still really had no quality of life because he couldn't go out, he didn't have interwebs or phone or anything. He had his compound and that was it. That is not a life. That is prison.) but I am tired (and was tired of it within minutes) of the celebrating. It's just stupid.

Ah, I knew there was a least one person over the Big Pond who didn't lose her head ;) People here were all WTF over people actually celebrating on the streets as if it's the end of WWII all over again. All we thought was "But... it's not over yet? Soldiers and civilians are still getting killed in various parts of the world in the "War on Terror". Don't they see that?" It's was just one of those moments when we realized yet again how different Europe and the US are from each other.

Well you know me- cool, calm, collected. *nods* That's totally me. ;)

People here were all WTF over people actually celebrating on the streetsI too was shocked by the partying in the streets. (And I was talking to my uncle who admitted that down where he lives there were people setting off fireworks and such in the streets. Which considering that kind of shit is illegal even on 4th of July? Is a HUGE thing ( ... )
