I don't believe these people are still barging into your life.

Nor do I. I haven't had anything to do with them since last YEAR.

Yikes. If she does show up, shut the door in her face. If she barges in anyway - that's a crime. You can call the police.

I think that I will just keep the door bolted and locked. As in, "not opening the door in the first place."

Seriously. Tell her not to come around anymore and that you don't want to see her. And if she does show up, call the police. There's no reason you should have to put up with her.

I'm kind of afraid to do that, as I still live next to her mother. And as long as her mother is alive, Sharon's going to be a pest.

Holy shit, can you call the cops on her for harassment? I mean, hell. O_O

I doubt it. I don't know where she lives--it's in the neighborhood, but I don't know where. I don't know her phone number. Hell, I don't even know her last name!

...even though I didn't have the money at the time.

Irrelevant since you hadn't hired her to do anything. If she had actually done the work, you still wouldn't owe her since you didn't ask her to.

Seriously, this woman sounds like she has serious mental problems. Keeping your door locked is a very good idea.

Nope. No consideration and no contract. She demanded the money right in front of rikibeth, by the way.

I really just want to pound them both and tell them to leave me alone. They both feel very entitled to money from me.

I will in fact totally swear an affidavit, testify, or whatever is needed relating to this incident if it comes to you needing evidence that this woman is entirely unreasonable.
