Late commenting, but THANK YOU for the rec for the Dee story! It takes the few bits we know about her personal life and does something amazing (we know a bit about Sagittarons generally, that Dee has complicated feelings about her home planet, and that she and her father fought about her joining the Colonial Fleet, eg). It comments on her and Gaeta's roles in the show without being heavy-handed about it, with bonus Hoshi! This is the kind of story you could tell must be happening while we were busy watching the main characters - and a lot of the time, the main characters were so obviously not part of the most interesting plots. So this is a great corrective.

It is also possibly the best story about stories and their impacts I've read.
