Vancouver was awesome. It was cold, but awesome.

Unfortunately my visit to Stage 3 Media had to be cut short, which sucks, but I understand.

I basically wandered the city on Thursday and Friday. My knee was killing me after the first day, so I took some pain killers that night, which left me still a bit loopy the next morning, so I spent most of the ( Read more... )

I got a request over on the Sam/Jack thread on Gateworld to do a Sam/Jack drawing and I finally did!

This one is done in graphite instead of my usual charcoal. I had forgotten how different it is to work in graphite.

I had a half day on Friday, so I finally gave into the temptation to stop at one of the many art supply stores that I pass on the way to and from work.

i picked up a new charcoal pencil, some blenders, an ink pen and a drawing board.

I decided to take my new charcoal and drawing out for a spin and this is what I came up with.

Saturday at the Con

After the fabulous set tour, the roomies and I walked (in the rain) to Earl's for an early lunch. It was yummy. I had a cajun chicken sammich and rosemary roasted potatoes.

Then we walked (in the rain) back to the hotel.

Today was the day of the costume contest. I swore that I would *never* dress up for a con. I lied.
