So Mom's leg is infected. Joy. She called while I was working and I had accidently left my phone by the bed. Erik's off today so I didn't want to wake him sneaking off to work. Ugh, I can't wait for this recovery bs to be over.
Also, I really love Erik. He's pretty damn cool.

So I'm out at lunch, 2 hours late (my bad!) I get into my art and forget to look at the clock. So I run by BigLots to get some groceries and cleaners (you'd be surprised how much money you save there!). And I saw some DVD shelves for $25. My nice ones my Dad made are in Texas, and my like 200+ DVDs and all of Erik's BluRays are all over the ( Read more... ) -

Finally home from Texas, been back about a week. Was a pretty trying time down there, Moms was in a lot of pain and I discovered that surgical pain isn't a thing I deal with well. I guess it can be resurfacing trauma inside the back of my head about my own pain. I really had a reaction that I didn't intend or foresee, but I go through it. She ( Read more... ) -
Cleaned up/Cleared Out
Cleaned out the old journal so that I can start posting in my new happy state.
Erik's at work today so I am using the day (even thought it is a holiday) to rearrange and organize/clean the house. Erik's wanting to move to a bigger, more expensive place. Would be nice but we live so cheap in Midtown, it's gives us lots of fun money. I don't want ( Read more... )
