Three wonderful pieces! Your LOTR is terrific - did you make up the pattern or is it one you bought? The phoenix is stunning; I agree with you on the red - excellent choice!

Thank you! The characters are in the "pixel people" line of designs by weelittlestitches on Etsy. I added the leaf border from a Better Homes and Gardens book of cross stitch designs, and I hand-charted the text in a backstitch font.

And yes, the vibrant red really does look great against that bright yellow. :)
