Hello, Lurker here, coming out of the shadows to post. I've spent the last couple days working on my kids Halloween costumes. Its the First year I've had no influence over their choices, and the first year they haven't matched.

But these were SO much fun to make!
I'm an amateur so be gentle :D

I know that the costumes I remember the most fondly were the ones my mama made for me- I hope that is the case with my own kids. My mom made me Raggedy Ann one year, complete with the handmade yarn wig. I so loved that one. And I was a daisy another year, all handmade. My brothers were a pair of dice that year. Hehehe.

I'm sure your kids will remember happily too, one day, and babble to strangers about the costumes that their mama made for them. :)

red yarn wigs *has flash back nightmares to last year*

I always loved being able to play dress up (sometimes for years) with the costumes my Momma made for me and my siblings.

Doesn't look amateur! They look great. Strawberry Shortcake is very creative.

He is really serious about it too, he even pitches his voice as low a he can (not very he's only 4 after all) to tell you "I am Batman"

Very nice!

And in Batman's defense, he is the Batman. If there is anyone who isn't a Jedi who could have a lightsaber, it's Batman ;)
