It looks like there will be seven nine of us for dinner tomorrow. Clearly, looking at this list tells me that we're good on the stuffing at least. =)

Planned for dinner:
  • Roast turkey
  • nminusone's infamous red stuffing
  • Sausage stuffing
  • Possibly another batch of stuffing with maybe less meat (like, none)
  • Mashed potatoes (with and maybe also without crab ( Read more... )

The GBC is all your fault. I don't normally make it, it was fortuitous happenstance that Piglet posted a recipe for the world's best (so they say) green bean casserole around the same time you mentioned it. ;)

I don't normally make it, either... in Georgia as a kid, we had just green beans with bits of salt pork or bacon, as a side.

That's an everyday green bean side, even north of the Manson-Nixon line, when I was growing up.

GBC is *special*.

I hear tell that easy_living is bringing a couple of pies.

Indeed. For a given value of "a couple" where "a couple" = "three".

One each of pumpkin and pecan, both currently cooling on the diningroom table, and one chocolate-mousse-with-fresh-raspberries, currently chilling in the fridge.

Did I mention that I LOVE all varieties of stuffing?

easy_living is the Evil Chocolate Elf. =) If we had her flourless chocolate cake and your and Pat's dark chocolate ganache truffles in the same room, we might all die in a delicious chocolate explosion of doom. I happen to believe there's such a thing as too much chocolate, and that might even convince other people of the truth of my statement. ;)
