...ok, the stream of conciousness broke me, because it's so Germany.
And oh god, your Italy is the perfect mix of Artist, ditz and cheerful. ♥

I liked how things came around full circle for the ending, with things being the same but still changed.

In strictly faithful canon there would be a whole lot more capslock yelling, but uhhh. That's a different fic. :'D

Last scene was fun. You want there to be a happy ending but it's not really genuine to say there is an ending, so at least you get to leave off with an "awww."

ilu bbycakes.

Well. I believe the only one who could probably keep up fully with this fic is some 80-year-old professor for German literary studies and possibly Germany himself (if by now he has caught up on the books that he could only read the first 100 pages of, that is ;)). Have you wondered what that says about yourself, you crazy-brilliant person?

Unfortunately, I'm neither Ludwig or an 80-year-old university professor, and therefore eternally stuck at the intellectual point of trying to find out which of these are proper scenes, and what order they follow. But rest assured, even from down here, both parts were simply spectacular. ♥

...
'this is not a beginning, this is a different part of the same story because I can't keep starting over again' might have broken my heart a little. Stop writing him like that. It makes me want to hug him and never let go, and that is such an absurd thing to feel.

"Deutsches Reich und deutsche Nation sind zweierlei Dinge. Die Majestät der Deutschen ruhte nie auf dem Haupt seiner Fürsten. Abgesondert von dem politischen hat der Deutsche sich einen Wert gegründet, und wenn auch das Imperium unterginge, so bliebe die deutsche Würde unangefochten." --Friedrich Schiller :D :D :D :D

...I think it says I should go out more on weekends, is what it says. Or I should kick back and start working on my sweater vest collection. B|

Thank you for humoring me. And no, no I will not stop conspiring to make you want to hug your country. Just look at him, heaven knows he could use it.

I'm sorry, all I read there was 'Germans are most special snowflakes'. atiko October 23 2009, 06:34:18 UTC
Verehrtester Herr Doktor Schiller,

I think I'll just leave it to Italy. |D

Ugh, my heart...I think it cracked. Argh, Germany! You...argh! There are times when I really want to hit you over the head, and others when I just want to hold you until everything turns out all right. Which they did, at the end. And now I can go to bed happy.

And Italy! Don't ever change! And, heck, Lichtenstein! Oh, HELLO new object of adoration. Who knew you'd be the one to knock some sense into the Fatherland. You go, girl!

...See what you're doing to me, here? You are turning me into an even more fanatical hetalia fan that I already was. And making me LIKE it at the same time! Seriously, this is not healthy.

....Do keep it up. *cough*

There was a lot of semi-deliberate messing with people's heads in a couple of these scenes, I'll admit. Those were the BEST.

Liechtenstein was a lot of fun too! I've written about her before, but never quite as actively as she gets to be in her moment here. I like her~

Will do, bud. /salute

Good god, Peep.

The part about picking up the pen had me near tears. Representing injury to the nation as harmful to personal creativity...yeah. Ow.

My head feels lighter now without all of this in there.

Made you wibble.
