20 icons of Kono Kalakaua from Hawaii Five-0 for round 18 at females20in20. I had some extra time this month, so I wanted to make these as a tribute to the character, who will unfortunately not be in season 8 of the show.

Wow, that was fast! I only posted the themes a couple of days ago!

My favorites are pastel, holding something, background text, right, left & ac #5. I loved Kono, and she will be missed.

I usually like to start working on my 20in20s that I've signed up for fairly quickly so I won't accidentally end up not being able to finish them. :-)

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the ones you mentioned, and I'm definitely going to miss Kono now that she's gone.

Yeah, that's me as well. I like to do it early because I have a habit of forgetting what I signed up for.

And yeah, Kono was just amazing. She was probably one of my favorites on that show. I'm still seasons behind, I started Hawaii Five-0 not that long ago, so I'm still in the middle of season 3, but still...I will definitely miss her when I catch up. I don't think the show will be the same without her, tbh.

I do it mostly because I sign up for a lot of things, and I need some way to make sure I get everything done. I pick the one with the earliest date and try to do that first, and then the next thing. This one happened to come after some other 20in20s I had this month, so I got it done even earlier than I usually would.

You have four more seasons worth of Kono to look forward to, so you're lucky in that sense. The show is light on Kono in the first half of season 4 because of the actress's pregnancy (and they made up a storyline to explain why she wasn't around as much), but then she's there as a regular up until the end of season 7. The show is going to be weird without her, and weird without Chin as well. That's half of the original cast gone at once.

Thank you! One of my main goals was this set was capturing all the different facets of Kono's character, so I'm glad that I succeeded in that regard ( ... )
