So I've got a friend visiting from MI and he's staying here with one of his friends. We had a late grilling session with some good food and then sat on the front porch drinking some beers during the magnificent storms we had tonight. I just stepped outside for my last cigarette of the night out on my balcony and saw a few lightening bugs. Something

It's that time of year! My kids LOVE catching lightning bugs in the backyard! And, from a dad's perspective, watching them (and sometimes helping them) chase and catch them all is just great fun. Put them in a jar, sit and watch the whole thing glow for a while, then set them free before we go in to bed (so they don't die, of course!)
