[She uses a napkin to wipe at the rim of Lelouch's glass neatly, before shifting it back to him.]

Modest as usual, Lelouch. That's probably why they like you. [Her tone is offhanded, mildly affectionate, and she starts to get up; she was done with eating, and it was time to move on to the next activity of the day.]

Where? [He repeats, blinking.] The apartment, of course.

Hm? [She tilts her head at him, just a little; and then she remembers that this is a Lelouch who had been here for months. Of course he was going to settle down somewhere. She falls into step beside him with an easy grace, commenting]

[After tossing payment on the table, he heads out the door, with C.C. beside him. He turns to her once outside.]

Of course. You can take Shirley's old room.

...Just ... try and stay out of Suzaku's way. He's from an earlier time, but ... that doesn't mean he won't recognise you. He's been out a lot lately, however.

Mm. [She acquiesces, before looking back at him curiously.] He's living with you as well? How much earlier?

[He stops in his tracks momentarily near the subway station as though deciding whether to take transportation or continue walking. He turns to her, and says quietly:]

He'll most probably know who I am. [She says wryly, quite bemused as she lingers beside him, waiting for him to make his choice.]

It would be easier for both of us if we lived together, don't you think? Rolo is also there. [But Suzaku ... what to do about him? Even if C.C. doesn't live with them, it's only a matter of time before he sees them together.]

It seems like it may be the same arrangement as usual.
