Is Merlin's "new" face the one on the right? It is only marginally better. I had to look to notice a difference.

I think it looks way better than before. I mean, it's still strange, but at least it doesn't make me cringe half as much... If they'd made a really big change, they'd have to redo the whole set because there's this running theme of weirdly exaggerated features.

Definitely better. They all look strange, I think Gaius is the only one close enough to the real thing, but at least now Merlin doesn't look like an evil goblin...
