People hotlinking from you sucks big time :( It only takes a few seconds to upload it on a different imagehost.

I have a Photobucket pro account, fortunately that means 'no bandwidth limit' but that's not the point. Hotlinking in general just sucks. It can't be so difficult to upload something they took from here (or elsewhere, the particular site I'm talking about hotlinks pics/graphics etc. from sites all over the internet) to tinypic/imageshack/imgur and then post it to their site.

If they can right click and copy the url, then they have time to upload something on a imagehost. I don't have pro account, but if I posted stuff on LJ and I'm sure I'll be screwed big time then >.<

I think it's just common courtesy to upload images you plan to repost to an image host instead of using the original link. If I didn't have a pro account my journal'd be pic-less half a month (and I'd probably depend on crappy LJ scrapbook D: ). DNW. :P

It's a foreign forum/fansite (I don't speak the language) but I didn't find something like an email address, otherwise I would've send a mail and ask them to please stop the hotlinking.

People hotlinking to you isn't right. Can you block them somehow?

No, unfortunately that's not possible.

Since they seem to hotlink most images (my impression from what I've seen at the few pages I checked) they're probably not aware that a/ they're hotlinking and b/ that it's something you shouldn't do. I would've tried to get in contact with them instead of making it an issue of this entry, but I couldn't find contact details. So I'll just hope they read it, realise that I'm talking about them (didn't want to 'name names', though) and stop the hotlinking.

I've seen other sites hotlink images from my PB before, but that were only single images, this fansite reposted quite a few of the images I've used for my latest posts (f.e. the banners I made for my Soccer Six and Monte Carlo collection posts, other pics I used as banners for entries and screencaps I made from articles) and I guess they didn't start with that just yesterday (couldn't find any older news posts, maybe you have to be logged in to see them, IDK).

I don't mind the shirt being off, but in general I prefer clingy jumpers/shirts. A wrapped present's so much more fun than getting something unwrapped already - if you know what I mean. *cough*
