Apparently it is, it's been confirmed by his former agent Jess Alford via Twitter (see edited post).

By the way Gealach, do you know why is she "former" agent?

Bradley's and Colin's main agent is Ruth Young and Jess Alford was her assistant (and therefore working with/for B and C) for a long time. Jess now has clients of her own (i.e. she got a promotion of some sorts), that's why she's 'former'.

It's official now, apparently. His former agent Jess Alford (who's still with United Agents) confirmed it on Twitter, see edited post).

I haven't had time to do any research so far, is his character going to die in the end?

Damn already? Colin really doesn't take a brake at all does he? Good for him though, he's building up his résumé. Something I wish Bradley would do.

I doubt he'd be able to take a proper break, anyway. He'd probably be too antsy to get back to work ;)

I saw that they were remaking "Testament of Youth" in the Radio Times but didn't realise it was a film. There was a brilliant TV series of it in the late 70s/early 80s and I couldn't work out why they would be doing that again, but a film makes more sense.

They're doing it again as part of a series of events etc to mark the 100 year anniversary of WW1

Yes, I realise that, but this it the cash-strapped BBC and it was such a well-thought of series that it seemed odd to remake it rather than reshow it. A film makes much more sense.

I don't know why they keep remaking things either, I do wish they would sometimes show some faith in new, original stuff rather than the remakes and sequels they, and others churn out.
