I'll wait until they announce their main cast.

If they look/seem 'promising' I might give it a chance, otherwise I won't bother with another show of repetitive/plothole-y storylines, a butchered 'legend' and BBC budget CGI helmed by these two. >:|

LOL at your tag. I am not going to anxiously follow them after what they did with Merlin.

Neither will I. I'm shallow and will wait who they'll cast and maybe take a look at it but otherwise I won't bother with a show produced by them. #stillnotoverit

Dude. I still haven't been able to watch the finale. It's the only ep I have not rewatched. Yeah, I'm gonna wait and see who they cast too. Plus, it will be hard for me to watch (same problem that I had with Merlin) and I prefer to watch stuff that isn't problematic to get unless Alex Vlahos is in it.

They like to work with people they've worked with before and Alex said he'd be happy and glad to work with them again. So maybe he will? They'd be lucky to have him, he's a good actor.

I have to admit I wouldn't watch for him, though. I liked him in Merlin but I'm not really interested in his further carreer or eager to check out his other work.

They did Hex? Another show that started off very well and then fell apart...

This sounds so interesting but with their track record for inconsistency, it seems hardly worth following.

I never watched Hex but heard that it fell apart at some point. That's one thing these two are good at for sure.

I'll wait until they announce their cast and maybe release some info/pics/a trailer, after all it could make for a nice Saturday evening entertainment after Strictly. In general I'm not interested to follow another show produced by them, though.

Amazing, isn't it? A proven track record of failing to follow through with the potential in a series and they get yet another one. :(

I hate to invest in another series with them at this point.

It astounds me but after all Merlin was a major success and although they f***d up quite a lot they're (partly) responsible for this success. That's the sort of credential better showrunners work their asses off all the time but aren't lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time.

If the cast/general set-up look promising I might give the first episode a try, at this point (and considering my aversion re JC/JM) I wouldn't expect to get seriously invested in this show, though.

Another prime time show for them to ruin - exactly my thoughts. We can only hope the cast is as brilliant as the Merlin cast to save the day...

I'm really looking forward to the first casting announcement. If that seems promising I might give Atlantis a try, otherwise I won't bother.

OMG! Capps and Murphy are in the process of mashing another set of legends to pulp for the BBC! This show really sounds like Merlin take two with less clothes: The Greek myths...in Atlantis. Main character: Jason. Who arrives in Atlantis to find adventure and drama. Heh. I guess there will be slashable guys and some bare skin. I also guess, since the Js claim they feel obliged to honour the tragic ending of legends, that everyone will drown in the end. Ugh.

But I'll be strong! Not touching those two with a barge pole ever! Hmmm. Let's see who they cast in the main roles....

LOL. Oh, so true. Hey, that's how Atlantis died so of course they'd have to go to the end.

I can't invest in anything they do. Yes, they had a successful show but ghods above, they destroyed me in the end.

LOL. You are hitting a nail here! Maybe the cast should get some life jackets before they join???? I dread to think what the JJs are going to do with this!
The way Alex has been defending Julian and Johnny in recent interviews I strongly suspect that he will be in this.
Also loved your tag - hilarious!!!
I have also wondered what Bradley is doing next. Is he still in L.A? Maybe he has got some time on his hands before a new project. I certainly cannot believe that he would have had no offers.
