They did Hex? Another show that started off very well and then fell apart...

This sounds so interesting but with their track record for inconsistency, it seems hardly worth following.

I never watched Hex but heard that it fell apart at some point. That's one thing these two are good at for sure.

I'll wait until they announce their cast and maybe release some info/pics/a trailer, after all it could make for a nice Saturday evening entertainment after Strictly. In general I'm not interested to follow another show produced by them, though.

Amazing, isn't it? A proven track record of failing to follow through with the potential in a series and they get yet another one. :(

I hate to invest in another series with them at this point.

It astounds me but after all Merlin was a major success and although they f***d up quite a lot they're (partly) responsible for this success. That's the sort of credential better showrunners work their asses off all the time but aren't lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time.

If the cast/general set-up look promising I might give the first episode a try, at this point (and considering my aversion re JC/JM) I wouldn't expect to get seriously invested in this show, though.

Yeah, because no matter what, we were loyal to Merlin and Arthur. I am of the same mind as you about not becoming invested again. I just won't start with until it pans out or not as the case most likely will be.
