Plans had been made, tickets had been bought. Weapons had been readied, ammo had been triple checked. Shortly after the sunset, Allie emerged from van, her sword over her shoulder. "Quiet day?" she asked, automatically extending her senses around to the surrounding area just in case anything was trying to sneak up on them.

"Never quiet, but I didn't run into big groups," said Alice casually as she jumped down and walked inside the van, shortly after walking out again with a shotgun, ammunition and her trusty knives. That plus her guns made her feel moderately safe.

"See the mall? That's where we are going?"

She could help but let out out a short huff of laughter. "Great, my first visit to a mall. And I'm going to kill things."

"Lots of things," corrected Alice as she turned around to look at the shape of the mall getting darker and darker. She trusted her eyes but she really didn't want to find out how good they were if she ended up surrounded by zombies.

"Zombies in this world are usually slow and not too strong; the desert has made these even thinner and easier to break. They don't think or plan, they just crush everything under their numbers. Break their heads, break their spines. I would add don't get bit but maybe that doesn't apply to you. Just checking."
