I think it's hilarious how affected I am by the weather. Yesterday I was in a terrible mood, grumpy and not wanting to leave my bed. Today I popped right up, finished my book, started to clean the kitchen, etc. Also yesterday I didn't drink coffee, which definitely had something to do with it. I found a slingshot at DIRA, the Anarchist library, which is on St Laurent above the actual anarchist bookstore, L'Insoumise. They didn't have a very wide selection, but I chose bright red with lime green note paper and pink writing. erin made a bet with me that I wouldn't get up at 9:30 and if I did, she'd have to cook me dinner. well, guess what, she owes me dinner. I woke up at 9:33. And I made coffee and now I'm eating breakfast. Nothing like walmart grits and fried eggs to start your day off right.

This woman called me on Saturday and set up an interview with me to be a nanny, since her nanny ran out of the country. I was going to go to the interview, but I woke up this morning at 7:30 feeling like death warmed over. I thought that i was legitimately sick, but I guess I was just allergic to the early morning. I've had a lovely couple of days. First I spent time with Youlia, which was just fabulous. Then the snowstorm Thursday made my bus from nun's island 30 minutes late, so I stood in the snow waiting, knowing my friends would be at my house watching the OC without me. I made Amanda walk to McGill with a textbook I'm selling, in exchange for $10. I think it's a pretty sweet deal for both of us. Maybe instead of updating my livejournal I should get the presents for my bosses together, and clean the rest of the fucking house. Shauna you should see how lovely our kitchen is.

I'm selling some books and making some money. Good times. But I probably still shouldn't go to Toronto. Grr...even though I really want to. There's this shit that I'm not happy about but it's complicated to explain and I know certain eyes read this that shouldn't know this stuff. I guess that's it.
