I've had a lovely couple of days. First I spent time with Youlia, which was just fabulous. Then the snowstorm Thursday made my bus from nun's island 30 minutes late, so I stood in the snow waiting, knowing my friends would be at my house watching the OC without me. Then I took the metro to St Laurent, and that bus was also really late. I ran into my friend Zhaleh in the line and we decided to split a cab, since we were going to the same place. The cab driver misunderstood what I said, and instead of going towards St. Urbain, he turned towards St. Hubert, but it was good cuz then we didn't have to go up a steep steep street, AND he was one of the best winter drivers ever. He knew exactly how to get up the hill so we wouldn't get stuck. I got to my house close to 9pm, and we hung out and played Scrabble and drank some of my yummy Vermont microbrews.

Yesterday I woke up around 11 and Amanda and I went to Blockbuster and bought Jailbait! which is a pretty fuckin terrible movie. It was on sale for $2.99 though, so you can't really go wrong. It was one of those movies that could either be so bad it's terrible, or so bad it's amazing, and I'm still undecided. After the movie, Manda and I went to McGill to sell some textbooks. In total this week, I made $120 seling books, minus $10 commission to Amanda for walking one of them to McGill, which is pretty sweet since I'd forgotten about this easy money I could make.

We came back and did nothing for several hours, and then Leah invited me over for lovely dinner, so I went and hung out with those lovely folks for a while and Leah made me an adorable patch on pink fabric. I need to figure out what to sew it to. I came back here and found out that due to terrible illness, Melissa would not be attending the party chez Sarah K, and since I didn't have a travelling companion, nor many friends at the party, I went for Option B, which was to go to Le Drugstore with Noot, Amanda, Erin and Marie. It was a lot of fun. We didn't stay that late; I think the metro might still have been open. We went to LaFleur and got tofu dogs, though Amanda's may not have been a tofu dog, we weren't sure.

I'm planning on spending today in the house doing nothing but cooking and cuddling with Shauna's cats. They're soo huge and cute! Then tonight, sleepover! Bad lesbo movies, some wine, perhaps?
