Just Dance and Sex Changes

Tonight Steve wasn't parked on the couch, so Rachel and I decided to play "Just Dance 2" on the Wii with Monkey.  3 hours of dancing and about an hour talking about sex stuff with the kid.  She's 12 and full of questions

No, she stayed for the clitoris talk. But left when I explained how a sex change happened. Rachel didn't want to influence Monkey by making a subconscious face about something. [shrug]

I was worried that maybe that was too much information for her at such a young age. I'm not always the best at figuring out what's appropriate.

I think kids are pretty resilient to honesty... it's hiding stuff and pretending that tends to fuck them up, it seems to me.
