Attention all non-commissioned and field-enlisted personnel, a sudden change in signals from the stolen Gate has alerted us to an abnormal anomaly; one that is different from others detected in the past. It has resulted in a rapid increase in newcomers from other worlds. This is no cause for alarm as all newcomers are being brought onboard and treated in the Uesugi Medical Division for Gate sickness as per usual.
For all newcomers, welcome aboard. You will be issued a Sphere device used to communicate with the current crew. With the aid of the crew manual, you will be able to explore both the Uesugi and the Hawking. Should you have any questions, ask any crew member you can find as our commanders are still recuperating. We apologize as the Admiral's message is experiencing some technical difficulties or that would explain the current circumstances of the mission.

- Welcome to Gauntlet's Fourth Wall Weekend! We're glad you could join us. We ask that all threads pertaining to the Fourth Wall Weekend be limited to this post.
If the post maxes out, we'll make another. Threads do not have to be contained for the weekend only, so feel free to drag them out for a few extra days, weeks, months. Heck, go ahead and tag back next year if you feel like it.
The above-linked Crew Manual acts as a handy guide of seeing where things on the ship are. So if you want to meet up with someone, you can figure out where places are.
With the nature of this meeting, anything that occurs here is non-canon to this game or any other game you may be in. You are allowed to bring any character you please, whether they're from a different game, a dressing room, a musebox or even if you made them just for this to act on a random whim. Go nuts, the sky's the limit... or well, space and the confines of the ship are. ...You get the point.
As with those who are current members of the crew, your character arrives with anything within a five foot radius from whenever/wherever they were pulled. Exceptions are any Transformers or overlarge equipment (ie: mobile suits) which will turn up in the hangers of the Hawking and free for their owners' use. All characters will have already been treated for Gate sickness and will be free to wander around. All areas listed on the crew manual are open.
