[She cocks her head and makes a confused sound, her ears quirking.]

[Tieria is getting his bearings, investigating the area, all that fun stuff that comes with learning new things. He comes around the corner, sphere in hand as he tries a few more of the functions while he's walking through a particularly mundane area of the ship he's currently on, not expecting to see a wolf standing in the hallway.

However, considering her white fur stood out a bit, he pauses, staring at her in mild shock and something akin to alarm.

Wild animals?

Either that, or this was a pet...

[She was a little busy sniffing at some random scent that managed to catch her attention when she heard him, one ear flicking toward him before she looked up. Tieria?

Tieria! Amaterasu barks, tail wagging before trotting over to butt her head against his legs in way of hello.]

[While tail wagging could be taken as a good sign, lack of interaction with canines has left Tieria a little less than knowledgable on the signs of communication. Thrown off by the reaction, he steps back a bit, almost getting knocked over by her enthusiastic greeting.]

[He flinches from the wolf, almost nervous that he's about to be attacked.]

[She gives him a concerned look, snuffling at him as if checking to see if he was alright. He was acting rather odd...]

[The low grumbling in her throat sounds pleased, her tail thumping happily. Yes, she did, but at this point she was almost used to it.]

[Well, doesn't this look familiar, too. Maybe someone has brought a pet aboard, or a wolf has escaped from some kind of enclosed habitat, or-

...Maybe obfuscating stupidity is harder than it should be, when his heart is stuck in his throat, again. Yeah, that's probably it. He makes a sound, a surprised exclamation that isn't quite there yet, but otherwise remains a startled, silent viewer.

[Her ear cocks at that sound and she looks up, and the expression on her face is one of shock, only that quickly seems to change.

Abel? ABEL! Her excited bark has her spinning on her heels, nearly falling over herself with her tail wagging. It was Abel, it had to be!]

[It's hard not to laugh a little, at that, although the enthusiasm does give rise to brief concern.]
