Well, we do, and we turn it on if we're home in the afternoon when it gets really hot. Our house is old though, and it cools things down kind of unevenly. We could probably depend on it more. Usually we try to escape the heat by going to cooler places--by the water. But it was barely cooler there...
Ben always resists cranking the AC up. I should just go for it. *nods*
yes, you should, especially if penny is uncomfortable. is this about money again? i mean, i'm sorry, but how can you put saving a few bucks over the comfort of your child?? that's ridiculous. besides, you probably spend as much money driving around to the mall and the beach as staying home and using the a/c.
*sigh* I'm honestly not sure. I mean, in the morning it's not that hot, and then we know we're headed out, and so we don't turn it on, or not for long. I'm sure part of Ben's impulse is about $, no question, but he doesn't want Miss P to be uncomfortable--and if we're staying home or I insist, then the AC goes on (like today). We don't go out in order to not stay home, though... it's nice to get out.
I hear what you're saying. (And LOL does your icon speak for you, too.) I'll be more aggressive about this in the future.
