I did read in the paper later in the week that the inside area of the miniature golf place re-opened that week, but on Thursday. I'd totally forgotten that they had a fire there back in November! The animals had been newly painted, too.
I had a blast, and you guys were great house guests, too! It was nice that you're as laid back as I am, so not keeping to the plans didn't matter too much. It was nice to see you being able to relax (grin).
I hope that your sun burn is soon better, and that you'll be refreshed and raring to go on those school papers! And still able to work on that fic you were describing to me (grin).
The itching is always the worst part. Back when I was young and stupid, and would get sunburned, I went through jar after jar of Noxzema, as it did help with the itching. I guess they still make it.
Yup, had you been up here a week later, we'd have had indoor plumbing, games and air conditioning! It was still fun, even if you were soaking wet long before we got into the ocean (grin).

The sunburn is already getting better. It's not quite as painful anymore, meaning it doesn't take my breath away when I move, lol.
It's already starting to itch some though and that's pure torture.
I am already working on fic. And looking at the school stuff. *g*
