Yikes! Eye injuries are no fun. I've thwacked myself with my tennis raquet in the eye and it got purple and scary looking. I didn't have a headache though.
Haven't watched Vampire Diaries. Just sort of missed it (Burn Notice and Royal Pains come on Thursdays when it was on, plus I have tennis practice). But I'm pretty sure it's 'girly' themed.
I would imagine a tennis raquet in the eye would hurt considerably more. ATM, mine just looks like I've been smoking weed. Except there is a bruise in the white bit, and if I shut my eyes, there's a cut. So pretty superficial really.
Re Vampire Diaries, it was drivel. Although I wasn't a huge fan of Burn Notice when it was on here (mostly due to the time slot - I could never get into it), so you may enjoy it.
