I've been told by a friend in Florida that my LiveJournal updates amuse her, so T, this is for you:  MY LIVING ROOM IS PINK!  Ack!  I went into the paint store and told the guy I needed four cans of primer, two cans of tan paint, one can of blue paint, and two cans of merlot-red paint.  He proceeds to take the color swatches I gave him and mix them

Yes red primer is a horribly ghastly pink. But red paint can take many coats (costly) to get the correct shade, so the red primer really helps save money. But you have to put the red paint on top of it to see its worth. Why on earth would someone want red primer without the red paint that goes with it? If he messed up your order I don't think you should pay for it. I've had folks mess up our paint order and they had to fix it. Perhaps you can call the manager about this.
