Evanston: An Entire Town On Crack

Jul 15, 2007 22:32

I normally don't watch Painkiller Jane, but I happened to catch the second showing on Friday night, and I saw the actress who played Devon from The 4400 guest-staring. She was all stylishly dressed and scheming and controlling people's minds-- it was hot. ^^; *sigh* I never thought I'd miss Devon shuffling about and drooling over Jordan, but I ( Read more... )

I don't seem to have anything to say about tonight's episode, except that Marco was rockin' the red sweatshirt, and it made me happy.

Marco's sweatshirt was very nice! I didn't notice it the first time around but, since you mentioned it, I kept my eye out for it the second and... there it was. Garrity thinks Marco looks hot in red. ^_^

Tonight's ep was really kind of depressing, wasn't it? *sigh*

Hee. I don't remember this sweatshirt from before (some of Marco's clothes this season were worn previously, but I don't think this one was), and it makes me want to assume that it has some connection to Garrity.
Preferably that Marco found it in the back of Garrity's closet one evening, after showing up to Garrity's soaked from the Seattle rain and needing something to change into.

This week's episode really was depressing. Maia's visions were too upsetting to really try to talk about, but even the other parts of the episode were rough. I hate to see Kyle screwing up so royally -- and no matter what I've thought about Jordan in the past, I am firmly a Team Shawn girl these days. Jordan can have whatever intentions he wants, but I don't support his methods.

Ohhh! Marco wearing Garrity's clothes is even better than Garrity giving him the sweater. I like your idea. *grins, adopts it as her personal canon*

Can't you just see poor, soaked puppy-Marco standing in Garrity's threshold?

I know! There was just no joy in Mudville. I'm totally with you on Team Shawn, since I don't even trust people who want to set up utopias or 'heaven on earth'. Also, Jordan is really, really creepy this season-- even more of a cult of personality than before.

Kyle makes me want to cry.

And I'm also worried about Tess. *frowns*

Yeah, I'm not trusting Cassie because it's odd she knows things that Kyle shouldn't. fair enough if her being his guide was getting him to realise what he ought to do, like what he already knew but info like she has out of nowhere can only be rationalised as she's from the future or that she's a manifestation for his benefit but that his power goes deeper into knowing more himself without realising it ( ... )

Exactly. That stuff comes out of nowhere, and she really doesn't *act* like an embodiment of one's subconcious should. She just pops in, gives orders, and pops out. Kyle is being taken for a major ride, in my opinion. And he should know better!

I was torn between it sonuding like Ben is what they want to be Diana's chance at happiness - whick irks me a bit since she has a job she loves even if it stresses her...
Your point is well taken: Diana is good at and loves her job, and she has a beautiful intelligent daughter. What has Ben done for her, aside from take her away from said job and strand her in a foreign country with impossible expectations? A successful career woman and mother doesn't necessarily need a man to be happy. Plus, she screwed Marco over something royal.

part of me wonders if they're gonna do something whacky and reveal Marco or Garrity or someone else key but recurring as one. :(That would suck, but I wouldn't put it past the ( ... )
