Evanston: An Entire Town On Crack

I normally don't watch Painkiller Jane, but I happened to catch the second showing on Friday night, and I saw the actress who played Devon from The 4400 guest-staring. She was all stylishly dressed and scheming and controlling people's minds-- it was hot. ^^; *sigh* I never thought I'd miss Devon shuffling about and drooling over Jordan, but I ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'm not trusting Cassie because it's odd she knows things that Kyle shouldn't. fair enough if her being his guide was getting him to realise what he ought to do, like what he already knew but info like she has out of nowhere can only be rationalised as she's from the future or that she's a manifestation for his benefit but that his power goes deeper into knowing more himself without realising it.

Anyhoo, so totally agreeing on yay for Ben-less. Having just listened to end of S3 commentary with Ira I was torn between it sonuding like Ben is what they want to be Diana's chance at happiness - whick irks me a bit since she has a job she loves even if it stresses her, and she had a great kid, though Maia has her 4400 troubles, but you know Ben doesn't solve either of those problem at all, so...

But right, there were also several comments about him being too good to be true or he could be a serial killer and I'd kind of hoped maybe this is hinting but I wasn't holding out hope, however with there being 10 future agents it'd be great if he was one.

Mind you since it could be anyone by the sound of the promo part of me wonders if they're gonna do something whacky and reveal Marco or Garrity or someone else key but recurring as one. :(

Exactly. That stuff comes out of nowhere, and she really doesn't *act* like an embodiment of one's subconcious should. She just pops in, gives orders, and pops out. Kyle is being taken for a major ride, in my opinion. And he should know better!

Your point is well taken: Diana is good at and loves her job, and she has a beautiful intelligent daughter. What has Ben done for her, aside from take her away from said job and strand her in a foreign country with impossible expectations? A successful career woman and mother doesn't necessarily need a man to be happy. Plus, she screwed Marco over something royal.

That would suck, but I wouldn't put it past the writers. How I can love/hate this show all at once boggles my mind. ^_~

Btw, I adore your icon! Marco is totally the God's Plot Fixer. ^__^
