Greetings, S.S. Thor! This is your captain speaking. As you may have noticed, we are now en route to our next destination! Normality should be restored within the next four days or so. In the mean time, please relax and enjoy the game!

Event start!
This time, the lights across the entire ship has been dimmed. The Mission Impossible music is playing somewhere in the background. Instead of long hallways, there are tunnels to crawl through, ropes with which you can swing across the ballpit, monkeybars over the dolphin pool. And you've been given a laser gun.
It's time for some laser tag, people!
The rules are simple! It's a free for all, and nowhere on the ship is safe! If you're shot, you need to go to a station to "revive" (these will be all over the ship, and usually easy to find), and if you shoot someone, you get points. There will be scoreboards where you can check how you're doing, so this is a perfect chance to brag about those sniper skills you never told anyone about.
And as an added bonus: BASES.
The mods will be stalking all action threads while the event is running, and occasionally we will threadjack and announce that a BASE HAS BEEN FOUND. The first person - or group of people - to meet the requirements for the base will then win a prize. This prize can be everything from credits, to a month's supply of Yummy Tummy Tv Dinners, to a free trip to the spa. What exactly you win will be chosen at random by the mods.
Basically, this is just meant to be a lot of fun! gargleblasted is a year old, and this is our celebration! Or at least, the beginning of it, because as soon as this event ends on Thursday, a ~*PLOT*~ will take over - details to come!
This also means that there will be no planet this month, and - for various reasons that will become obvious very soon - no missions. Consider it a holiday for the characters, and just let them enjoy the insanity!
I'm also going to use this chance to remind everyone of the ACTIVITY CHECK. Please remember to post with any activity for July!
