As an English noble, I am accustomed to riding frequently. Since I arrived on the Thor, I have been unable to exercise appropriately. I do not wish to become weak or lazy - such inaction would be unbefitting of my soiledgrand name.

How do the residents of the Thor cope with such inaction? Are there other ways to exercise? [Without making ( Read more... )

I find myself taking long runs around the ship and swimming in the dolphin pool. I have also found a gym, if that is more suited to your taste.

I do not like running. [It's too much effort for a physically weak Asthmatic.] And I do not know how to swim. [Somehow that isn't included in Victorian education.] Perhaps the "gym", then.

There's a gym here that I go to from time to time. I also take a few sparring lessons to keep my practice up.

There's also more physical jobs you could do. Exercise and get money for it.

Good question. [When you get to be Gadget's age, "use it or lose it" applies twice as much.] You could do push-ups and things, but they've got to have exercise equipment somewhere.
